Oil represents favor and when you are connected to people with favor, the more blessed they are, the more blessed you will be. That oil will flow down to you and when we understand this, this is easy to celebrate those who are ahead. We know that because we are honoring them, sowing into them, as they rise higher, we are going to rise higher because we are connected.
If you sow disrespect, you will rap disrespect. If you sow spreading rumors and string up trouble that is what you will rap. A much better approach is to celebrate those who are ahead. How do you know they are not a favor connection, somebody God brought into your life so you could rise higher? If you are jealous and competitive. You are letting what God meant for your good become something that is holding you back. Turn it around. Let us be people who celebrate success, who learn from those who are ahead, who honor people who are blessed with more influence.
