But it is extremely selfish to go around always dwelling on your problems, always thinking about what you want or need and hardly notice the many needs of others all around you. One of the best things you can do if you are having a problem is to help solve somebody else’s problem. If you want your dreams to come to pass, help someone else fulfill his or her dreams. Start wowing some seeds so God can bring you a harvest. When we meet other people’s needs, God always meet our needs.
A person had been highly successful at one time, but through a series of poor choices, he lost his business, his family, his home and his entire life saving. Now, he was basically living out of his car.
He got to get his mind off his problems. Get his mind off the mistakes he have made and all the things he have lost. If he really want to be happy, if he really want to be restored, he have got to change his focus and go help somebody else in need. He have got to sow some seeds.
Do you know that no matter how big your problems is today, somebody else has a bigger problem, a tougher road. You can help ease somebody’s burden. You can cheer somebody up and give somebody a fresh new hope.
We were crated to give, not to simply please ourselves. If you miss that trust, you will miss the adamant, overflowing, joy filled life that God has in stores for you.
When your reach out to other people in need, God will make sure that your own needs are supplied. If you lonely today, do not sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Go help someone else who is lonely. If you are down and discouraged, do not focus on your own need. Get your mind off yourself and go help meet someone else’s need.
