To the downtrodden who sleep in public rest rooms and on park benches, failure represents the end of the road. They interpret, one of life’s catastrophes as a kind of personal annihilation and allow it to totally destroy their sense of self, of purpose and of relationships.
The man with a purpose, on the other hand, is able to accept failure as a temporally setback or distraction and use that exercise to improve his performance. Failing can present life’s most valuable lessons. Over and over I have heard declarations like getting fired was the best thing that ever happened to me or the divorce, although a terrible blow, forced me to grow up and now I am a better person.
But if we are to succeed, we must take risks and seize new oppornities, which can inevitable bring challenges and adversity. It is not possible to win high lee success without meeting opposition, hardship and setback. But it is possible to use setback. But it is possible to use setback to propel you forward.
